Zach Sutton was born and raised in Mustang, OK and started playing the piano when he was seven years old. He originally took music lessons where he learned to read music but also taught himself how to play by ear and how to play various genres ranging from Jazz and Country to Gospel and Pop with some light Classical and even Blues influences along the way. His greatest piano influences are Floyd Cramer, Scott Joplin, Oscar Peterson, Nat King Cole, Gordon Mote, and Mark Reighard. His style is wide ranging playing everything from 50s and 60s country to current hits by Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Adele, and many more.
Zach has played professionally since the age of 16 with his first paying gig outside of church being at the RINK Gallery in Bethany, OK. Since then he has played for various groups with Southern Nazarene University (SNU University Singers, SNU Chorale, Reflection) and outside of SNU with Gospel groups Blake Bolerjack, The Toler Brothers, and Redemption Five. Other notable artists Zach has accompanied are: Darden Purcell, Alison Wedding, Matt Falker, Amanda Taylor, and a live clinic with the sons of Dave Brubeck w/Saxophonist Dave O’Higgins. Zach has also traveled to the countries of Venezuela, and Germany to perform along with Southern Nazarene University Singers, and Redemption Five.
Zach is currently working on his second album as well as marketing the Zach Sutton Experience.
